In 2018 a new restaurant opened its doors at Lowlands Festival: Brasserie 2050. In 2050 the world needs to feed an estimated 10 billion people. To make this possible, the world’s population need to start eating in a more sustainable way. The dishes served at Brasserie 2050 prove this doesn’t mean food will be boring or tasteless in the future, on the contrary. On the menu are, among other dishes, No Waste bread made of potato peels, salad Biddinghuizen as a local bread variety on salad Niçoise and steak tartare with 50% less meat.

Wye River House / MGAO

On Christmas day 2015, an out of control bush fire swept through Wye River, a small township located along the Great Ocean Road. 116 homes were lost in the fire. This project replaces one of these homes. The site is located on a steeply sloping block, obliquely facing Bass Straight. Perched high on the hill side, the house sits where the tree canopy once stood, anxiously awaiting the regrowth of the surrounding bushland.

Organicare is a showroom for the Vietnam traditional fish sauce and organic products. The project is reformed from an old house which was built before 1975. The house itself was fixed and expanded for many times.
