The project refers to a vacation house that is developed in multiple levels, on a steep slope on the island of Antiparos. Οriented towards the East, the plot offers a direct view of the island of Paros, as well as visibility to the islands of Cyclades nearby.

Two Rivers Public Charter School / Studio Twenty Seven Architecture

Two Rivers Public Charter School is a network of high-performing public charter schools in Washington DC. The new middle school at Young campus, designed by Studio Twenty Seven Architecture, is a state-of-the-art facility featuring large classrooms, dedicated common space, a full-sized gymnasium, outdoor courts, sun-filled atrium and the signature ‘sitting steps’ in the foyer. This school serves 6th through 8th graders and is connected to the existing elementary school via an elevated bridge. Special instruction rooms include art, drama, music, Spanish, science lab, and breakout instructional spaces.

We were lucky to design the interior of a unique historic building. House of Count Orlov, late 18th century, architect M.F. Kazakov, built in 1880 – this is not just a story, in our case these are load-bearing walls a meter thick and vaulted ceilings made of ancient tsarist bricks. The philosophy of space has developed by itself – to preserve and embellish.

The University of Chicago Student Wellness Center / Wight & Company

With the goal of taking a more holistic, integrative approach to providing health services to their students, the University of Chicago sought to create a facility that would bring together the departments of Health, Counseling, and Wellness to enhance student care. The new facility, located on the ground level of the historic Lying-In Hospital along the Midway Plaisance, was renovated in keeping with its context and expanded to infill an existing courtyard to create more program space. The facility incorporates principles of health and wellness, sustainability, and best practices for medical planning.

History Museum Graz / INNOCAD

The temporary exhibit, “how it was. Space and History,” is one piece of a four-part provincial exhibition in the Austrian state of Styria which showcases the region´s cultural heritage on the first floor of the History Museum in Graz. Located in Palais Herberstein, the museum is a significant historic building in the city center. The 500 square meter exhibition, spanning from the beginning of our era to the 20th century, aims to make ancient traces of historic architecture, landscapes, borders, legislation, and society legible and visible.

Tower and Urban Block in Novosibirsk / Brusnika

Two buildings in the centre of Novosibirsk are part of a large redevelopment project, which Brusnika launched in 2012. The development company provided accommodation for residents of unfit houses, which were later demolished to start construction works. In 2016 the first house in the area was accomplished, and in 2021 a housing complex designed by DROM, a Netherlands-based bureau, was brought to completion.

Tropical Oasis with teak roof and screens blends inside & outside boundaries connecting people to nature. Studio Saxe was commissioned to design two beach houses in the beautiful town of Santa Teresa in Costa Rica. We decided to blend the tropical jungle into the houses whilst creating a bioclimatic comfort for people to enjoy the outdoor experience.
