GLØDE (Norwegian verb) means to glow from within with a warm, soft light. The word evokes an inhabited architecture, where matter itself seems to radiate life and presence. Built as a small fireplace shelter, GLØDE was developed during a three-week journey across Europe, with ten days fully dedicated to its construction. The project covers 24 m² (6 × 4 m) and was conceived as a resting place for gathering, warmth, and shelter.

Fermilab, the nation’s premier particle physics laboratory, is home to groundbreaking research that advances our understanding of the universe. Spanning 6,800 acres outside of Chicago, Fermilab’s campus has long been a hub of discovery, but its researchers and engineers were historically dispersed across multiple facilities. A totemic presence in the landscape, the new Anthony Timberlands Center has opened in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Part of the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design, the center is conceived as a model for mass timber and wood product construction. It was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning Grafton Architects, executed by local studio Modus, and illuminated by New York-based TM Light.

This addition to the historic Dariaus and Girėno Stadium is conceived as a highly functional indoor athletics facility, extending the existing infrastructure to accommodate both competitive and training uses. The design approach prioritizes contextual integration, material authenticity, and spatial fluidity, aiming to reinforce the site’s cultural significance within the urban fabric of Kaunas.

In Friedrichsruhe, where open farmland meets gently wooded hills, a country house has been built as a pair of connected homes. The layout and overall appearance of the buildings — including the main houses, garages, and boundary walls — take inspiration from a nearby historic farmstead. With very simple means, a strong sense of space and atmosphere was created. The main idea was to design a house that works on its own terms, without complex technical systems, without constant regulation, and without the need for ongoing adjustments.

Located along the southern coastline of Sjællands Odde, Denmark, this sharply defined holiday house is carefully designed to respond to its landscape, the contours of the site. With a clear focus on functional spatial organization, the project establishes strong connections between interior spaces and the surrounding outdoor areas and terraces, enabling a seamless flow between inside and out.
