Stenkløvervej Vacation House / Filip Karl Edward Arkitektur

April 10, 2026 Hadir Al Koshta 0

This vacation house is a “Less is Enough” project. The client’s starting point was the need to build a new summer house that could accommodate the entire family, allowing them to spend the whole summer together in one place. Instead of prioritizing large spaces and maximum comfort, this compact house embraces the idea that it is only a summer house. The everyday standards of permanent living are intentionally left behind. Rather than spending the budget on maximizing square meters, the project focuses on investing in durable, sustainable materials and a thoughtful spatial concept.

At the northern edge of Kössen’s settlement core, where the road leads toward the triple sports hall and the residential and nursing home for the elderly, everyday village life becomes particularly concentrated. Between the town hall, the church, and the local theatre – the familiar center of communal life – a new building is emerging that quietly seeks to connect all these places: the Kössen Education Center.

The residence is perched above a steep, rocky cape in Antiparos, fully exposed to the northern winds. It overlooks the island of Despotiko -home to ancient ruins- and the open expanse of the Aegean Sea. Oriented westward, it enjoys views of the sunset and the neighbouring islands of Sikinos, Sifnos, and Serifos. The archipelago unfolds below: at times serene and radiant, at others wild and uncanny, embracing the architecture in a constant dialogue with nature.

New Nursery School in Bergamo / Studio Capitanio Architetti

April 1, 2026 Hadir Al Koshta 0

The new nursery school in Romano di Lombardia, designed for children aged 0 to 2, is conceived as an architectural device that actively supports early processes of growth and learning. In this project, space is understood not merely as a container of activities, but as a formative agent capable of shaping relationships, fostering autonomy, and nurturing a child’s perception of self and environment. The spatial layout is clear and legible, with each environment carefully calibrated to promote orientation, security, and independence, integrating pedagogical intent with spatial and perceptual quality.

Apartment A / heros

April 1, 2026 Hadir Al Koshta 0

At the top of a 1970s building, the transformation of a duplex apartment creates a new way of living in the heights. This through-apartment opens generously onto two planted terraces, true outdoor extensions that invite relaxation in the heart of the city. With its clean lines and open volumes, the project reinvents space with an aesthetic inspired by architectural minimalism and Japanese principles.
