Bureau de Change enlivens Trace apartment block with pink waste-based panels

Architecture studio Bureau de Change has updated a 1980s apartment block in London, revitalising its facade with pink concrete panels made from demolition waste. Named Trace, the building in Euston was revamped for developer HGG to provide five apartments across its six storeys, which include two floors added as part of the project. Bureau de Change

Reyes Ríos + Larraín Arquitectos extends pink beach house along narrow Yucatán property

Local studio Reyes Ríos + Larraín Arquitectos stretched out a beach house along a narrow plot and coated it with rose-coloured stucco on the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico. Completed in 2024 in Dzemul, Yucatán, the San Bruno Beach House has 700 square meters of built area separated into three pavilions on a 1,460 square meters

Vaga Arquitectura and Pistache Ganache wrap Brazilian store in undulating “membrane”

Brazilian studios Vaga Arquitectura and Atelier Pistache Ganache teamed up to design a “consumer-first” boutique outfit with curving coral walls for a mattress company in Sāo Paulo. Renovated in 2024 by design studio Vaga Arquitetura and luxury retail designer Atelier Pistache Ganache, the narrow store sits on the end of a block in the Pinheiros neighborhood.
