Plaza San Pedro, in Villaverde del Río, is located outside the southern edge of the historic center and is crossed by one of the pedestrian arteries that articulate the urban fabric, Avenida de Santa Teresa. It joins two important areas: the historic center and the San Sebastián neighbourhood, the first major expansion of Villaverde del Río during the 20th century. This site offers unbeatable potential as a meeting point for citizens.

Shopping is an integral part of the street. Improving the vitality, comfort, and safety of the public space was done by fostering occupancy of closed shops and emphasizing relationships through the shop windows. That was the task developed on the street in the project, Good morning, Carme! (Olot, 2021). In a single year, 1000 m² of shops were opened and 120 m of façade were redesigned in a single square in the old town.

Kaiser-Josef-Platz Wels / atelier dede + Steinkogler Aigner Architekten

Part A of Kaiser-Josef-Platz in Wels, Austria has been opened in 2021. The once large suburban square is intended to connect the country and the city. Our design shows influences from the surrounding area and the history of the landscape but should retain an urban character. Sufficiently cooling trees, which have already proven to be climate-friendly, together with the landscape islands, form the framework for the urban space, which, in addition to the dynamism that it already has, should also offer space to linger.

Pamulang University has chosen Antonius Richard and RAD+ar to design their new Islamic Oriented public square, plaza building, and public artwork. The project attempts to strengthen the character of its Islamic based development, reconcile cultures and define identities. Octa Plaza will be a focal point by exploring much spatial fun in its 3 dimensional Plaza planning that was displayed.

Urban Requalification of the Colina Sagrada do Senhor do Bonfim / Sotero Arquitetos

The urban requalification of the “Colina Sagrada do Senhor do Bonfim” is a project involving the redesign of one of the most important spaces in the city of Salvador da Bahia. It includes three plazas: Praça Teodósio Rodrigues de Faria, Largo do Bonfim and Praça Eusébio de Matos, reaching 36.050,00 m². The site topography depicts a 22 m high difference between levels, which suggests different uses on each one of them. While on its top-level uses are determined by visitors’ religious and cultural manifestations, the lowest ones shelter secular programs, such as retail, services, and leisure.

Oertelplatz, a square in the Allach area of Munich, is a new development providing the quarter with a new urban heart and transportation centre. Bordered to the east by the railway and an industrial area, to the south by a new commercial mall, and to the other sides by smaller residential buildings, Oertelplatz is divided into two separate areas. To the south, the urban square functions as a marketplace, with terraces for cafés and restaurants, and as a meeting place next to the fountain or under the trees.

House Installation / Sum Architecture

The authorial design piece brings the concept of urban kindness to the furniture: amidst the bustle of the city, the multifunctional furniture connects the user to the green of nature. Designed for the outdoor area, it provides a true sensory experience that promotes socialization. The clean and geometric design adapts to different uses and users.
