ELL is a 5,500SF ground-up Beverly Hills Developer residence designed for Luxe List Home. The building is located at the crest of the Benedict Canyon hillsides, overlooking the entire serene landscape of the Beverly Hills neighborhood. The project is loosely situated within the footprint of a former, now demolished, one-story 1950s residence.

We were asked to create a multi-use guest pavilion on a relatively small Northern California vineyard lot that could also host sit down dinners for up to 60 people.  We started by asking the key questions:  “Where should it be within the property?”  “How much floor area do we need for a 60 person dinner?” “How much volume do we need for a basketball court?”  We also always tell ourselves to “look at the landscape first, let it dominate and lead it through.”  The building took the form of a large Napa Valley barn.

To highlight the site’s characteristics, La Louve is organized according to two distinct ambiances. Towards the mountain, the simple volume rests against the bedrock, while to the forest side, it is perched on slender pilotis hidden amongst the trees.

S+J House is located in the seaside neighborhood Costa Esmeralda, a private development 13 km north of the city of Pinamar and four hours away from Buenos Aires city.

This place will bring back into 80’s, the origin time of brand “Wangprom” at Sampran district, Nakorn Pathom Province, Thailand by using the local element twist with modern design process and context and then become the main concept “Modern Sampran”

The designer added “I considered about what Korean vintageness was. In general, Korean beauty reminds of Hanbok (traditional Korean house), Hanbok (traditional Korean clothes), Hanji (traditional Korean paper made from mulberry tree)and Korean food. The Los Angeles Design Group has recently completed a transformative residential renovation in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, California, reconfiguring a hermetically sealed box into a lightfilled,1,894 squarefoot, threestory home. The design draws inspiration from the iconic stepped form of Marcel Breuer’s former Whitney Museum in New York, yet in reverse. Whereas Breuer cantilevers his building toward the busy Manhattan street to provide shelter for a sunken courtyard garden, the LADG cantilevers the house in three steps over the rear yard, bringing a sense of enclosure to the rear yard against a steep hillside. Two of the house’s windows also nod to Breur, referencing his angular forms.
