Compiled by surf culture blog Indoek, Surf Shacks features residences ranging from hidden rural cabins to converted vans, tropical bungalows and city apartments – putting paid to the idea that surfers reside exclusively by the coast.

As well as covering an eclectic range of architectural styles, the book also spotlights interiors. Readers get a glimpse into living rooms, home art studios and even the personal record collections that illustrate what life is like onshore for surfers.
