Resistance of the walls need to be well thought before even the wall is constructed. Load bearing structures of the houses build with cement blocks and clay bricks walls are most often. There many reasons leading to cracks: soil movement, foundation settlement, deflection of the wall supports and vegetation near the home… All of these happen no matter where the structure is build and where is gravitating.
Resistance of the Diagonal Cracks
There are several remedies that would make resistance of the diagonal cracks in outside corner of the building:
* Trees should be plant minimum 2 meters distanced from the boundary of the house.
* The foundation of the building should not be based on shrinkable clay soil. If it is necessary, upsurge the depth of foundation- it should be lied on a level where the crack ends.
* Cover the boundary of the house by applying 2 m wide flexible waterproof apron
* Arrange essential foundation depth for foundation system.
